Nothing much to report but it is high time to get rid of the previous journal. I seem to have moved completely away from clay modelling in recent months, and looking back over my time on DA it seems that my tastes have changed completely through the years. I started out doing a lot of photomanipulation. I think I grew bored with that and moved on to something else, then grew bored with that as well. I still watch the same people who I have always watched and must say that I am constantly amazed at the work which is being produced. It is, and has always been, a delight to open my pages to see what people have been up to. The type of "art" on DA seems to be changing rapidly and I am not sure that I like the trend so it is good to be reassured that all my old favourites are, in the main, still producing some wonderful work.

Retirement suits me
It has been a long time since I wrote a journal entry. I have never been much for publicising my thoughts but I have to say a few words about some changes. After a lifetime of working I finally retired in May. With such a massive change happening it was appropriate to make some further changes so we moved to Portugal so that we are in a warmer climate. Suits me perfectly. Having been born in the tropics I find that Portugal is very similar apart from the winter rainfall.

What an interesting exercise. This made me take a good long look at my time on DA and the people with whom I have been associated. I enjoyed the trip down memory lane and the thought that I had to put into my answers.

I have always 'moved along' in my hobbies and interests and obsessions too. I often tell David that it's a small miracle he's still around after 41 years' marriage
